What We Do
The San Gabriel Valley Water Association unites water stakeholders in the San Gabriel Valley to ensure sufficient water supply and delivery for our community of 31 cities, spanning 284 square miles and two million people. SGVWA provides guidance and facilitates collaboration among its members, actively participates in water supply matters within California and the Valley, and aims to empower and educate customers through the Valley’s water suppliers.
Who We Are
SGVWA is a nonprofit group of more than 60 cities, public agencies, public utilities and mutual water companies responsible for management of groundwater replenishment and cleanup.
It was founded in 1955 as the Upper San Gabriel Valley Water Association, when 50 water suppliers joined forces to form the region’s first water governance structure.
